WALL-STREET: ” Those born after 90S are most willing to work today in Bucharest, tomorrow in Cluj, the day after tomorrow in Prague”, Adrian Stanciu, Smartree

„Although most employees are still working at the office, 4 out of 5 more precisely, there are also people who would like to work anytime from anywhere: those born after 90s”, said Adrian Stanciu, Smartree’s Chief Executive Officer during HR 2.0 Conference, organized  by WALLL-STREET.RO and supported by Groupama, Lugera, PeliFilip and 7Card. “Those born after the 90s are most willing to be today in Bucharest, tomorrow in Cluj and the day after tomorrow in Prague. The only way is to adapt to the new conditions, otherwise we die ”,said Adrian Stanciu, Smartree’s CEO. IT & C, FMCG, pharma, business services and new media are increasingly industries in which employees are most willing to physical mobility, not only between cities, but also to virtual mobility. “The new generation feels much closer to other people in front of a screen, on Skype. Technology makes thing faster. It is clear that this is the future, “says Stanciu. He says that many physical mobility projects turn into virtual mobility projects. The man moves between cities without being relocated there. “Virtual mobility has many cost advantages for employers. It is very, very cheap, “argues Stanciu. According to Smartree’s CEO, mobility is a very simple option, especially for a company which enters on the romanian market place and relocates people without having an office. It optimizes costs, offers flexibiility in decisions and it is the best way to test the marke. However, there is a disadvantage, the team members are not meeting anymore for brainstorming: “Employees should meet sometime for brainstorming. We have major clients in IT industry that could easily give up the office but they do not want to do that because romanian people are very creative at work, “explains Adrian Stanciu. At the same time, he says that employers from Romania prefer to keep their employees at the office because they do not trust in their working home efficiency.
