1. New occupations added to COR
By the Order published in Official Gazette No. 785/2026, two new occupations have been added to the Classification of Occupations in Romania (COR): Integrated Community Services Expert (code 341208) and Tender Manager (code 122111). At the same time, the occupation “sign language interpreter” has been renamed “Romanian Sign Language Interpreter”, with no changes to its COR code.
2. Increase in the value of cultural vouchers
Starting in October 2026, the maximum monthly value increases from RON 250 to RON 260, while the value granted occasionally for cultural events increases from RON 490 to RON 510/event. These amounts represent maximum limits and are not mandatory for employers.
